Ricardo Fuentes, MD is a Colombian physician who graduated medical school in the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. Prior to residency, his experience include patient care in the Colombian Amazon and clinical practice and research in Rheumatology. Completed internship in the University of Puerto Rico and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine that serves the population of the Bronx, in New York. Currently is the fellow in Performing Arts Medicine at the UNT Heatlh Forth Worth, TX, and coming back to the Bronx as an Assistant profesor of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department in 2026. Awarded multiple recognitions during training including Gold Humanism Society, resident of the year in multiple occasions, and House Staff Award over 1600 residents of the institution. Currently serving as the Medical Education representative of the AAPM&R PHiT council. Dr Fuentes has great interest in electrodiagnostic medicine and treating artist with a holistic approach of rehabilitation.
