Dr. Stacey and Dr. Tracey Isidro are the twin PM&R Sports Medicine physicians and are national leaders, educators, and advocates for physiatry and wellness. Most recently, they launched their private practice Premier Med Plus in Houston and New York City.
They graduated from PM&R residency at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and TIRR Memorial Hermann, the #2 US News and World Report rehabilitation hospital in the nation. Afterwards, Dr. Stacey completed PM&R Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of New Mexico, and Dr. Tracey completed PM&R Sports Medicine fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine where she later became an attending physician at Columbia University Medical Center.
In 2023, they made history as the youngest physicians covering a Broadway show and are recognized nationally as two of AAPM&R’s inaugural 2024 Innovators & Influencers. Dr. Stacey was also awarded the 2024 American Medical Society for Sports Medicine Resident Scholarship, which is presented to a member who best demonstrates a commitment to a career in sports medicine, selected as the Internal Medicine Intern of the Year, and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Additionally, Dr. Tracey was awarded the Top Doctor’s Women in Medicine Award for being a top Sports Medicine physician in New York. Further, she was the only trainee chosen for BCM’s Women of Excellence Award and later received AAP’s McClean Outstanding Resident/Fellow Award, a national award historically given to one trainee for leadership, research, education, and clinical excellence.
